What the day will look like As a Consultant in the Data Solutions team, you will lead client engagements across the Financial Services sector, delivering high-impact advisory and data-driven solutions. You will take full ownership of project delivery, manage cross-functional teams, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients. This role demands strategic thinking, strong project management capabilities, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Client Advisory & Relationship Management Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, building long-term relationships and ensuring high satisfaction and retention. Lead strategic conversations with clients to see opportunities for advisory services beyond data products, including total rewards, incentive design, and organizational benchmarking. Project Leadership & Delivery Independently run end-to-end delivery of advisory and data projects, including scoping, planning, execution, and reporting. Coordinate internal resources and stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables. Develop project plans and manage modules with minimal oversight, ensuring alignment with client expectations and internal standards. Product & Market Strategy Contribute to the strategic development of industry-specific survey products and data offerings. Conduct market research to identify trends, segment clients, and inform product positioning and sales strategies. Data Analysis & Solution Design Lead the design and delivery of bespoke solutions, including incentive compensation analysis, salary structure design, and regulatory reviews. Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for clients and internal stakeholders. Thought Leadership & Content Development Draft and present proposals, reports, and presentations that reflect deep industry knowledge and client-specific recommendations. Facilitate client workshops and webinars to share market trends and best standards. Team Collaboration & Mentorship Guide junior colleagues in project execution and methodology. Share expertise across the Talent Solutions team to foster continuous learning and innovation. Skills and experience that will lead to success With 7–8 years of experience in human resources consulting, compensation survey management, or client advisory roles, preferably within Financial Services. With proven track record in leading projects independently, managing stakeholders, and delivering high-quality outcomes within timelines. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (macros preferred), PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with Access is a plus. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience in drafting RFPs and contributing to cross-practice proposals is an advantage.
