We are looking for individuals like you with the skills, curiosity, and drive for change to help fulfill our goal and enable our customers to produce materials needed for a better future.As a Lab Automation Specialist in SPA-C, your role will involve designing, developing, and testing Quality Control System projects for the cement industry. You will be responsible for engineering, commissioning support, and leading projects for high-end laboratory automation systems such as QCX Robolab, QCX Autosampling, and QCX Blend Expert. Your projects will be spread globally, requiring extensive support activities as part of your job.Key responsibilities include preparing, reviewing, and approving design drawings and specifications, SCADA programming, MIMIC development, and PLC hardware configuration and programming. You will be involved in all aspects of a project, from technical sales support to on-site commissioning, ensuring timely completion with quality. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal departments and external consultants, travel to customer and consultant offices for project review meetings, and conduct site visits for commissioning support and system handover.To qualify for this role, you should have a Master's or Bachelor's degree in engineering (Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical) with 7-13 years of relevant experience. Experience in plant layout engineering with AutoCAD and SolidWorks is required, along with knowledge in drafting techniques, PLC/DCS programming languages, and industrial protocols. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point, as well as excellent written and spoken English skills, are essential.
