Employer Engagement - Manager / Assistant Manager
Overall Job Responsibility
You will engage and partner with employers to enhance work opportunities for persons with disabilities. This involves developing and implementing strategies to help employers improve their capability and confidence in hiring, integrating, and retaining persons with disabilities. You will collaborate with employers, persons with disabilities, government, and social service agencies to promote sustainable disability-inclusive hiring and employment practices.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement sector strategies to promote disability-inclusive hiring
Engage and cultivate 'queen bee' companies to advocate for disability-inclusive practices within their sectors
Identify and engage potential employers to generate interest in disability-inclusive hiring, utilizing initiatives like the Open Door Programme, schemes, and grants by SG Enable
Plan, manage, and track employer progress on customized hiring plans for PWDs
Provide advice and support to improve employer practices based on the Enabling Mark framework
Create engagement materials and provide consultancy on disability employment to employers
Maintain accurate records of engagement activities and prepare reports for management and stakeholders
Support events organized by SG Enable or partners
Perform other duties as required
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience
Degree in any discipline
