Operations Officer

Our church is seeking a detail-oriented Operations Officer who can create environments for ministry and community to thrive.

  • Coordinate room bookings and prepare facilities for church events and meetings.
  • Oversee maintenance, care and operational efficiency of facilities and equipment.
  • Work closely with the Property Management Committee to manage budgets and expenses.
  • Conduct verification and disposal of fixed assets.
  • Coordinate part-time support staff, including cleaners, gardeners, and refreshment service providers.
  • Oversee the Traffic Marshal Ministry.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Some experience in facilities or property management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings. Sunday work is a must.
  • Knowledge of traffic safety, emergency response and first aid, an advantage.
