Job Title: Building Operations Director

The ideal candidate will oversee the smooth operations of church facilities, leading the building team to ensure effective performance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage operating expenses and capital projects for renovations, refurbishments, and new construction.
  • Sources and oversees operations contracts, manages contract renewals, and prepares related works.
  • Provide regular management reports to the committee on CAPEX project status and operating expenses.
  • Monitor and manage service providers according to established standards and key deliverables.
  • Oversee maintenance and upkeep of all facilities and buildings.
  • Collaborate with external vendors to maintain and repair campuses.
  • Schedule and prepare facilities for events and ministry activities.
  • Cordinate with departments to execute large-scale activities efficiently.
  • Advise on measures to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement fire safety procedures and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure facilities meet compliance standards and government regulations.
  • Forecast and propose necessary budget for building operations.
  • Drive a safe and healthy work environment culture.
  • Develop emergency response and crisis management plans.

Requirements:

  • A full-time call to ministry is required.
  • Degree in Facilities Management, Building & Project Management, or related field.
  • Dependable, responsible, independent, and resourceful, with a positive mindset.
  • Strong team player who's ready to work alongside a team that values hard work and serving in the Kingdom of God.
  • Self-initiated individual, able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to build and manage relationships at all levels.
  • Solid analytical, organizational, and execution skills.
  • Good project management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in computer processing and systems skills.
  • Leadership experience and relevant experience in a similar environment are essential.
