Project Director

The Project Director is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of building projects within defined timelines, quality standards, and contractual obligations.

This role involves managing a project team, coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring compliance with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) requirements, and driving collaboration among team members to achieve performance targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute project start-up and execution plans, defining key project targets in terms of time, cost, quality, resources, EHS, and contractual obligations
  • Liaise effectively with clients and consultants on all project matters, including authority submissions, planning, construction, and EHS compliance
  • Lead a team of professional and technical staff in the day-to-day planning and execution of works to achieve project objectives
  • Review and manage project budgets, as well as handle all contractual matters
  • Implement and monitor innovative construction methodologies and practices to improve productivity and achieve lean outcomes
Requirements:
  • Degree in Building, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project management and/or site coordination for building projects
  • Strong knowledge in construction management, planning, and contractual matters; lean mindset in managing cost and resources
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to achieve project goals; highly committed to delivering milestones and targets
