Job Description Ampol is transforming how we trade and manage risk with the implementation of a new CTRM Ecosystem – and we're looking for a Change & Transformation Lead to help bring this change to life. In this pivotal role, you'll lead business readiness and adoption across Trading, Risk, Middle Office, Finance and Operations. You'll work closely with program leaders and stakeholders to design and embed new ways of working, ensuring the change is understood, embraced, and sustained. You'll play a hands‐on role in shaping process design, analysing impacts, and guiding teams through transition states – helping deliver a streamlined, data‐driven, and efficient operating model. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on how Ampol operates – supporting smarter decision‐making and enabling the business to realise the full value of this major transformation. Key Responsibilities Lead transformation – Drive the change for Ampol's new CTRM Ecosystem, ensuring alignment with business strategy and readiness across all functions. Plan and deliver change – Assess impacts, develop fit‐for‐purpose change plans, and guide teams through transition to the new operating model. Engage stakeholders – Partner with leaders across Trading, Risk, Finance, and Operations to build alignment, ownership, and sustained engagement. Design and embed processes – Shape and implement efficient, scalable business processes that support real‐time data and simpler operations. Enable capability and readiness – Lead training, monitor readiness, and manage change risks to ensure confident adoption and lasting success. Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Business or Human Resource Management Change management certification or designation desirable (e.g. PROSCI)Proven experience leading large‐scale organisational change or transformation – hands‐on delivery, not just theory. Skilled in managing change fatigue and engaging stakeholders at all levels, including executives. Strong facilitator with experience running workshops and delivering training to support major change initiatives. Deep understanding of change management principles, tools, and the people side of change. Excellent communicator with strong influencing, listening, and relationship‐building skills. Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable working through ambiguity and complexity. Highly organised with strong problem‐solving skills and a structured, forward‐looking approach. Collaborative team player who works effectively across Business and IT functions. Proficient in Microsoft Office and quick to learn new systems or processes. Understanding of the physical and paper trade lifecycle within the oil and gas trading environment.
