Procurement Executive
Perform Spend Analysis to support sourcing strategy and annual plan development.
Implement procurement programs to achieve new knowledge and apply to the organisation.
Drive cost reduction, implementation of Group strategies, policies and initiatives.
Contribute to the development of procurement planning processes.
Lead procurement processes and tender management.
Drive the alignment of SOP to GPPA and ensure new vendors are pre-qualified accordingly.
Ensure purchase orders are reviewed and processed in accordance to requirement.
Conduct tenders in accordance to requirement and make recommendations to committee.
Study the project and aid on cost reductions, efficiencies, risk mitigation, industry and supply trends.
Supplier Classification, Relationship Management and contract management.
Proactively work with Stakeholders and assist in or directly manage spend.
Know, understand and stay abreast of industry trends, benchmarks, best practices, etc.
Monitor Strategic/key Suppliers to provide internal notifications and develop risk mitigation scenarios.
Analyze past and future demand volumes, inventory trends and current inventory levels.
Drive best practices and reductions in Total Cost of Ownership (i.e. supply programs, catalogs).
Minimum Requirements
Diploma in Supply Chain/Chemical/Business
At least 3 years of experience in any supply chain management
Knowledge in Contract Management/Policy Development/Governance, Control & Risk Assessment & Management.
Knowledge in Procurement Process/Vendor Management
Procurement Engineer
Source suppliers for direct/indirect materials/services to expand supplier base and new projects.
Obtain quotes from newly sourced suppliers to provide costing and cost reduction.
Conduct price negotiation with suppliers to ensure competency in cost for materials/services.
Conduct supplier qualification audit and parts qualification to ensure suppliers meet company needs.
Entry into the Approved Vendor List once supplier has qualified.
Conduct supplier performance review, to update supplier quality and suppliers capabilities.
Maintain SOP to ensure workflow processes are consistent, and negotiate agreements with suppliers.
Develop supply chain model to ensure assurance of supplies with minimal inventory holdings.
Work cross-functionally to ascertain quality standards of items supplied and establish quality plan.
Provide quotation template to Sales dept for standard products & scope of supplies.
Minimum Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2-3 years relevant experience.
At least 2 years of exposure in components sourcing and fabrication parts.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
