Job Title: Key Distribution Support Specialist

Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the Manager in assessing or reviewing more complex fit and proper assessment cases which are required to clear Hiring Authority Approval.
  • Support the Manager in reviewing and setting up structured processes to ensure that Service Level Agreements are met. The structured approach encompasses the identification of problems to implementing and refining solutions in a methodical way, which is key to consistently meeting the agreed service level agreements.
  • Be involved in fit and proper framework review and execution work, ensuring that operational changes are smoothly implemented.
  • Responsible for fit & proper assessment applicable to the appointment of representatives under Representative Notification Framework (RNF) within the agreed timeline, which includes:
    • conducting fit and proper assessment on each candidate
    • making recommendations on the suitability of each candidate
    • flagging out adverse findings and escalating of case for further evaluation
    • Ensure completeness of documentation for each candidate.
  • To liaise with candidates, hiring manager and internal stakeholders on all matters relating to the recruitment of the candidate:
    • missing information or supporting documents required for due diligence checks
    • funding schemes extended to the candidate
    • Signing of the Agency Agreement with the candidate
  • Provide regular statistics & reports to Distribution Channels related to candidates & appointment of representatives.
  • Conduct periodic declarations and checks such as:
    • Quarterly review of representatives who are appointed with enhanced monitoring
    • daily credit monitoring on representative's financial status
    • annual self-declaration from the representative
  • Support for other Distribution Support functions, such as:
    • handles audit requests related to fit & proper assessment
    • regular review of processes to streamline and ensure relevancy
    • Any other projects or tasks as assigned
