About the Role

Our corporate banking team is seeking a skilled Relationship Manager to handle commodities and trade financing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of client relationships, credit analysis, and financial management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Maintaining and strengthening client relationships through regular visits and calls, and structuring solutions to maximize business opportunities.
  • Underwriting credit proposals and renewals promptly, handling loan documents that emphasize key risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Managing KYC/AML/credit risk and credit ratings.
  • Identifying cross-selling opportunities to maximize business returns and handling clients' business needs, transactions, and queries.
  • Liaising with local stakeholders and overseas branches.

We are looking for someone with a degree in Accountancy, Business Management, Banking & Finance, or Economics, with at least 3 years of experience as a Relationship Manager in Corporate Banking serving large corporates. Experience in trade finance, syndicated loans, commodities financing, credit analysis, financial spreading, and reading and interpreting financial statements is highly desirable.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree in Accountancy, Business Management, Banking & Finance, or Economics.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Relationship Manager in Corporate Banking serving large corporates.
  • Knowledge in trade finance, syndicated loans, commodities financing.
  • Experience in credit analysis, financial spreading, able to read and interpret financial statements.
