The connectivity database Administrator is fundamental in the delivery of support services to clients. Reporting to the Local Service Delivery Manager and working within a team of technicians, the CDA will be Client site based and be responsible for the management, maintenance, enhancements and upgrades of the Client hosted connectivity database within the client data centres and campus buildings. The Role will be part of the DC operations delivery team.
Work the following hours**:Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 - Weekday overtime and Weekend working as required.**
**What you’ll be doing as our :Connectivity Database Administrator (CDA)**
**System**:
Database ownership to administer all changes to connectivity.
Ensuring that the Database becomes a fully integrated planning and management tool delivering an efficient and enhanced level of iMACD services to the client through continued maintenance and development.
Ensure that all information is and accurate available in a timely manner to provide the service.
Dedicated single point of contact for the database administration.
Extensive experience in MS EXCEL, Word and reporting tools
**Workflow**:
Complete Service Now generated Work Orders within client SLA’s.
Compile patching schedules utilising and updating connectivity database.
Undertake localised, regular audits to verify and maintain the accuracy of the data and integrity of the database Solution.
Compile reports on cabling infrastructure utilising the database as required.
Undertake proactive cabling infrastructure capacity planning.
Produce regular reports summarising all connectivity activities.
**Team**:
Compile and maintain process and procedure documentation associated with database administration
Attend team, client and vendor meetings where necessary.
**Policies and Procedures**:
Ensure all works comply with the supplier, client and manufacturers quality standards.
Conform to the client and Onnec processes and procedures at all times.
**What we’re looking for in our : Connectivity Database Administrator (CDA)**
- Logical and methodical approach to work.
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent level of local language and English spoken/written
- A clear understanding of all types of Copper / fibre structured cabling systems including patching connectivity.
- Experienced in workflow management software, MS EXCEL and operational procedures to administrator level

**Salary**: $45,000.00 per year
