Compliance Director - Financial Services Our client is an international financial services research firm with a strong commitment to governance and regulatory integrity. As part of their growth in Singapore, they are seeking an experienced Compliance Director to lead the local compliance function, with a direct focus on MAS and SGX regulatory requirements. Role Overview The Compliance Director will oversee compliance and risk management in Singapore, ensuring full alignment with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), Singapore Exchange (SGX), and relevant legislation. This role requires proactive engagement with regulators, strong knowledge of local financial laws, and the ability to embed a culture of compliance across the business. Key Responsibilities Provide advisory on MAS and SGX regulations, including SFA, FAA, PSA, and PDPA. Manage licence applications, regulatory submissions, and correspondence with MAS and SGX. Develop and maintain compliance manuals, frameworks, and risk registers. Oversee AML/CFT and sanctions monitoring, and act as Data Protection Officer (DPO). Conduct compliance monitoring programmes, internal reviews, and regulatory reporting. Deliver compliance training and provide Board‑level reports on key issues and remediation plans. Requirements Minimum 10 years’ experience in compliance within financial services (fund management, brokerage, payments, or banking). Proven track record in liaising with MAS and SGX, including inspections and audits. Degree in Law, Finance, or related field; ICA/ACAMS or equivalent certification is an advantage. Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to influence stakeholders across business functions. High level of integrity, judgement, and ability to work independently. #J-18808-Ljbffr
