Job DescriptionAssisting in managing the team of consultants to drive service excellence.Assist in the implementation of check and balance processes and corporate governance standards as per the client type, strategy, mission, and goals of the regulated entity;Assist in providing day-to-day support in the development, implementation, and maintenance of client’s compliance programs;Assist in development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures - ensure compliance policies and procedures are effectively communicated to the client, in accordance with the Firm’s regulatory requirements;Assist in continuously monitor relevant regulatory changes and assist clients in developing internal controls, accordingly;Assist to communicate and liaise with MAS and other regulatory body;Assist in conducting annual compliance reviews;Assist in preparing and submitting annual and quarterly regulatory filings;Proactively provide practical, business-friendly solutions for esoteric regulatory issues

Strategy and Business DevelopmentResponsible, with the Executive Director - Compliance Solutions, for the overall client relationship management function of the Singapore office.Develop strategies for establishing partnerships and business relationships to maximise revenue through market product offerings and services across all business lines.Work with the CEO - Compliance Solutions to ensure all cross-selling avenues are pursued, including the cross training of employees and their awareness of the global Waystone product offerings.Ensure client facing teams globally are aligned in their onboarding approach and display consistent high standards throughout the process.Collaborate with the Global Business Development team and guide them in researching, identifying, analyzing opportunities and converting them into revenue generating clients.Keep abreast of markets, industry trends and regulatory changes.

LeadershipServes as a senior role model for the organization's culture and values.Provides strong leadership and effective management to maintain highly motivated teams prepared to meet the demands of a dynamic and high growth business environment.Promotes team building and communication across the organization through mentorship, collaboration, team events, and committees.Manages and cultivates existing relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external, ensuring the vision of the Global CEO, COO and Divisional CEO is represented.Publicly represent Waystone as a business leader in the community.

**Requirements**:
Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience in compliance, governance, risk, financial or consulting roles in the financial services sector.Experience dealing with the MAS regulations, in particular the Securities and Futures ActExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.Good understanding of the financial services industry, in particular the asset management industryStrong leadership and organizational skills. Team player and self-motivated
