Job Description:

  • Lead the development of innovative behavior, planning, and control strategies for autonomous robots.
  • Design and implement modular architectures for complex robot decision-making processes.
  • Develop and optimize global planning algorithms for dynamic environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate navigation with perception and mapping capabilities.
  • Validate algorithms and software through simulations and real-world testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Robot Behavior Development: Create advanced behavior tree architectures for complex robot decision-making.
  • Planning and Optimization: Develop and refine global planning algorithms (A*, D*, RRT*, PRM, etc.) for efficient robot motion.
  • Controller Tuning: Fine-tune local planners and controllers for smooth and safe robot operation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of robotics, algorithm development, and system integration.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., C++, Python).
  • Strong understanding of mathematics and computational models.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
