Role Overview
As the Solutions Sales Manager for the APAC region at Parameta Solutions, you will be at the heart of our growth initiative, focusing on capturing and expanding new revenue opportunities within Parameta's Infrastructure as a Service business line, and offering clients critical infrastructure and analytical capabilities. Initially as an individual contributor, the role is designed to provide autonomy and support in fulfilling Parameta's ambitions to commercialise these key internal areas of expertise. This role is designed for driven individuals looking to leverage their industry and technical knowledge and network, to shape the future of financial market infrastructure. You'll be strategically positioned to connect with key decision-makers across high-profile clients, driving new business in a company poised to make major strides in market share. With significant investments in sales excellence, our Sales Teams are positioned as the future leaders who will elevate our client relationships to new heights.
Role Responsibilities
Develop Parameta's APAC strategy for IaaS, identifying prospective clients from existing and new relationships across the region.
Build, own and grow a substantial Book of Business in the financial infrastructure and technology business of Parameta Solutions in APAC.
Drive revenue growth across existing clients and new business opportunities by leveraging the full capabilities within the firm to deploy high value solutions to Parameta's clients.
Construct, forecast, and manage pipeline via
Communicate effectively via phone, email, in-person and virtual meetings.
Maintain understanding of key trends across financial technology space and be the "go-to" industry lead for financial markets infrastructure solutions, particularly cloud infrastructure, trading analytics and market data connectivity.
Develop strong collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders.
Perform diverse functions effectively: territory management, account management sales strategy and lead generation.
Contribute to the global sales and marketing strategy for the IaaS vertical.
To fulfil any additional / ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.
Experience / Competences
Essential
At least 8 years demonstrated experience in B2B sales, particularly within the data, analytics, or financial technology sectors, showcasing a deep understanding of the industry landscape and client needs.
Deep knowledge and hands on experience of capital markets infrastructure and technology.
Demonstrable understanding of value selling methodologies and maximum value creation techniques.
Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets, demonstrating a results-oriented mindset and the ability to drive business growth.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, employing a consultative sales approach to build relationships, understand client needs, and articulate value propositions effectively.
Comfortable working with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, to manage sales activities, track customer interactions, and analyse data for informed decision-making.
Desired
Fluency in English and Mandarin or Japanese will be an added advantage to service our APAC clients.
Experience working with trading infrastructure, preferably for OTC markets.
Proficient in utilising data analysis tools to derive insights and support sales strategies, helping to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Experience working collaboratively within cross-functional teams to optimise sales processes, share knowledge, and drive collective success.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, demonstrating flexibility and resilience in the face of challenges.
