The postholder is responsible for the account management of their dedicated customer(s) and for all commercial interactions including new leasing opportunities and contract negotiations for Vantage across APAC.

**Essential Job Functions**:

- Responsible for the direction, leadership, and account management of all sales, business development operations, and the marketing of new site opportunities in APAC, which includes:

- Day to day point of contact with key customer(s).
- Manage the Sales process from Site Selection all the way through to Construction delivery.
- Manage and work with internal stakeholders such as Site Selection, New Site Development, Sales Solutions Engineering, Design Engineering, Construction and Operations.
- Work closely with the Commercial and Finance teams to ensure maximum value through commercial pricing, deal structure and business case.
- Gather and share intelligence which will steer and drive Vantage’s Site Selection activities.
- In the Sales capacity, accountable for:

- Named strategic account(s).
- Lead/sponsor on RFP’s & Build-to-Suit Opportunities in partnership with the Solutions Engineering team.
- Continued efforts to generate additional business through market intelligence and information gathering.
- Drive the company’s achievement of its customer acquisition and revenue goals.
- Challenge and drive the Vantage teams to deliver the best outcome for the customer while ensuring the best value for Vantage.
- Establish strong relationship with the customer Leasing teams.
- Coordinate sales related activities across teams to resolve customer issues and drive betterment for the customer.
- Represent the company at various industry, community and/or business meetings to promote the company.
- Supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs.
- Work with executive team and other leadership to develop five year and ten-year business plans for the company.
- Act as a role model of the Vantage Way and Vantage Company Values.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Additional Job Description**:

- Solutions driven attitude.
- In depth knowledge of, and demonstrable track record, in the data center or related sector with a firm knowledge of development, engineering, delivery, or sales.
- Degree and postgraduate qualifications desirable, and/or equivalent (international) experience.
- Highly motivated, self-starter with demonstrable experience of coaching and develop high performing teams.
- Ability to effectively communicate, collaborate and gain support from cross functional and geographically diverse stakeholders (internally and externally).
- Outstanding negotiation management and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong IT skills; ability to use multiple communication tools and packages.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical/operational.
- Creative thinker and demonstrated ability to champion innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ability to analyze complex business problems and simplify (for the benefit of the customer and internal stakeholders).
- Flexible, adaptable and self-directed; able to work in a variety of circumstances, e.g.: remotely, while travelling, across multiple time zones, cross functionally, by project, etc
- This position requires an organized individual with the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously, work well under pressure, and to prioritize work effort, all with mínimal supervision.
- Willing to travel within APAC up to 25% of the time.
