Description Country Manager – Greater China Employment Type: Full-time Reports To: Group Managing Director, Aventis Graduate School Lead Aventis’ Strategic Expansion in Greater China Aventis Graduate School is seeking a visionary, results-oriented Country Manager to lead our international growth in the Greater China region. This senior appointment empowers you to shape the postgraduate education landscape by building strong partnerships, driving student recruitment, and establishing Aventis as the preferred choice for working professionals. Key Responsibilities - Market Expansion & Student Recruitment:- Expand Aventis’ market presence; drive enrolment across postgraduate and executive programmes - Identify new market opportunities and develop region-specific strategies - Represent Aventis at education fairs, industry conferences, and partner meetings - Partnerships & Institutional Collaboration:- Build and manage partnerships with universities, agents, corporates, and government bodies - Negotiate strategic agreements—articulation, dual-degree, franchise—that advance Aventis’ goals - Ensure programme offerings are tailored to local market needs - Regulatory Compliance & Operations:- Ensure compliance with all education, advertising, and data regulations - Set up and oversee local operations including administrative and legal functions - Provide timely market insights and business reports to Singapore HQ - Marketing & Brand Building:- Localise and execute marketing campaigns - Build Aventis’ brand through digital outreach, alumni engagement, and media initiatives - Organise events to increase visibility and drive programme uptake Ideal Candidate Profile - Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field - Minimum 5 years’ experience in international education, student recruitment, or business development within Greater China - Proven track record in market expansion and forming strategic partnerships - Strong understanding of the region’s education sector and regulatory requirements - Excellent communication and negotiation skills; Mandarin and English proficiency preferred - Entrepreneurial, independent, and adaptable - Willingness to travel across the region as needed What We Offer - Senior leadership role in a fast-growing, reputable institution - Competitive compensation plus performance-based incentives - Regional autonomy with collaborative HQ support - Access to a global network of colleagues and partners - Mission-driven opportunities to transform lives through advanced education About Aventis Graduate School Aventis Graduate School is Asia’s leading postgraduate institution for executive and applied master’s programmes, partnering with prestigious universities in the UK, US, and Europe.
