**Job Description:
The Country Manager sets overall direction for the operations, formulates strategic goals and drives organisational growth while aligning with the Company’s strategies.
He/ she identifies new business opportunities, champions the organisation's service excellence aspirations and fosters strategic relationships with stakeholders. He/ she is also responsible for driving the organisation’s financial, innovation and productivity strategies based on the Company’s overall direction.
He/ she operates in a rapidly transforming business environment where he/ she is accountable for the success of the entire operations.
He/ she is a forward-thinking strategic leader with a strong business acumen, able to make calculated-risk decisions, constructive, analytical and performs effectively in a complex and difficult environment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Establish and ensure a sense of organisational leadership, direction and governance.
- Articulate organisational strategic priorities, directions and plans, which includes the organisation’s vision and culture and build commitment within the organisation.
- Direct and implement new market entry strategies
- Lead in real estate and building infrastructure expansion plans for boutiques and/or offices
- Lead and implement formulation of technology strategies and roadmaps to boost business productivity
- Ensure business continuity plans and crisis management plans are aligned to business continuity strategies to ensure organisational effectiveness in responding to disruptive events.
- Optimise service performance of workforce through service excellence and customer retention
- Develop and promote productivity and innovation culture in the country operations
- Build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure business development and operations are aligned with the organisation’s goals
- Represent and promote the Läderach brand in alignment with Singapore HQ’s marketing and branding message
- Develop strategic leadership networks with both internal and external stakeholders
- Any other duties and responsibilities as deemed fit by the Management
**Requirements**:
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in Business Management preferably major in Marketing, Operations Management, Supply-chain Management or Retail Management
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the retail industry occupying a management position
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with good command of English
- Must be able to articulate well to all stakeholders in the Company and external customers
