Overview OB is looking for a knowledgeable and customer-oriented IT Helpdesk Technician to provide exceptional 1st/2nd Line Support to employees, ensuring smooth operations and resolving technical issues efficiently. Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for all IT-related queries and issues, providing timely and effective support to end-users. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems, escalating complex issues to appropriate teams if necessary. Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows Desktop/Server systems, ensuring they are up-to-date and secure using RMM. Support and troubleshoot business applications, including but not limited to email clients, office productivity suites, and specialized industry software such as Cloud 9, IPC, Voxsmart and web ICE. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights, adhering to company policies and security standards. Respond to service requests in a professional manner, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution. Collaborate with the IT team to identify recurring issues and develop proactive solutions to improve overall system performance and user experience. Assist in the implementation of IT projects and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Maintain an up-to-date inventory of hardware, software licenses, and equipment, ensuring appropriate asset management practices are followed. Requirements Proven experience in providing 1st/2nd Line Support in a similar role, in a Windows environment with at least 2 years’ experience. Solid understanding of core Windows Desktop/Server infrastructure and associated business applications. Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and commonly used office productivity applications. Knowledge of user
