The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Leader to drive the development of key knowledge products.

About our role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the creation and delivery of high-quality publications that inform and engage our audience.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end publication production, including:

  • Formulating content strategies and collaborating with subject matter experts.
  • Developing plans to secure original content from contributors.
  • Writing and editing selected articles to high editorial standards.
  • Supervising editing and layout, including drafting or editing titles, headings, and captions.
  • Managing contributors, editors, and designers to deliver publications on schedule and to a high standard.
  • Maintaining and growing distribution lists for print and digital publications.
  • Promoting new publications through social media channels.
  • Meeting readership and engagement KPIs for proprietary publications.

Experience and Qualifications

Required experience includes writing and editing in business or science journalism, publishing, or project management. Government experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Journalism or an equivalent is required.

Skills and Aptitudes

The ideal candidate should be resourceful, able to manage concurrent workstreams, organised, adaptable, intellectually curious, and able to communicate clearly and confidently.
