What the role is: We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior/Assistant Director (Knowledge Management), Corporate Operations Division. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high quality corporate service support in MTI to achieve customer satisfaction. You will report to Director (COD) and Deputy Director (Knowledge Management) and be required to lead/work with a team of supporting staff in ensuring smooth planning and execution of the Ministry's corporate functions. What you will be working on: (a) To put in place systems, processes and implement change management for regular and widespread Knowledge Management (KM) practices in MTI. This should include but is not limited to the following: Support KM transformation, the planning and implementation of KM processes, practices and use of enabling products Leverage on relevant and enabling technology for officers to file, share and access information easily Partner divisions for continuous improvement on existing KM process and standards to increase work productivity Work with divisions to capture tacit knowledge in key MTI projects Monitor state of KM within MTI to ensure alignment to KM policy and standards Work on projects related to KM for MTI (b) To lead/execute KM-related projects assigned to achieve the overall objectives of COD. (c) To carry out assigned duties to support the overall COD's and MTI's vision and mission. What we are looking for: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience Familiarity with knowledge and records management and digitisation is preferred Past relevant working experience within the Singapore Public Service with working knowledge of Government Instruction Manuals would be an advantage Good verbal and written communication skills and confident to communicate well with internal and external stakeholders Must be proficient with MS office skills, data analytics and AI tools Attention to details, systematic, and able to work in a fast-paced environment Able to multi-task and concurrently work on a variety of projects Team player with a positive work attitude About Ministry of Trade and Industry The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) seeks to transform Singapore into a leading global city of talent, enterprise and innovation.
