About this role
Your team:
Black Rock Global Markets and Index Investments (BGM) brings together Black Rock's index equity, index fixed income, global trading, securities lending, cash management, ETF markets, and financing and financial resource management businesses to deliver investment, trading, financing and risk management excellence for clients every minute of every day.
Your role and impact:
You will be responsible for delivery and execution of administrative business support to the BGM APAC team. You will be responsible for calendar management, supporting office operations, and coordination of events and team activities. You should be motivated, action-orientated, resourceful, organized, and collaborative with a strong attention to detail. You should have a general understanding of core administrative business processes.
Your responsibilities:
Core administration:
Effectively managing calendars across global time zones, including the coordination of meetings and video conferences.
Coordinating business travel and processing the relevant expenses in line with company policy.
Planning and coordinating small internal and external events (e.g., strategy sessions, conferences and social events) whilst ensuring that logistics are adequately managed to ensure that all events run smoothly.
Serving as the main point of contact for external visitors and coordinating with operational teams to ensure compliance with security protocol/procedures.
Skills & behaviors:
A minimum of 2 years of related administrative experience.
The ability to maintain focus, complete tasks in a timely manner, set realistic timeframes for completion and provide updates as timelines change.
Interact autonomously with internal partners, independently follow through on requests and actions.
A strong sense of urgency about getting work done.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools; comfortable navigating technology.
A flexible attitude and an ability to adjust or reprioritize and assume additional responsibilities as required.
Build positive rapport with different management styles.
Knowing and engaging with the right individuals/teams to solve problems in a timely manner.
Exercising discretion when handling or dealing with sensitive information.
Partner effectively with broader team and other APs.
