Trade Marketing Manager
for our joint venture, Capital F&B Pte Ltd in Singapore.

Capital F&B Pte Ltd , located in Singapore, is a leading distributor of food and beverages. We proudly serve as the sole distributor for Asahi’s global brands, including Peroni Nastro Azzurro, Grolsch, Pilsner Urquell, and Asahi.
With Asahi's majority shareholding, Capital is now a joint venture under Asahi Beer Asia. We are committed to delivering on our great taste promise and bringing more fun to life for customers in Singapore.
Accountabilities and deliverables:
Channel (Off 80% & On Trade 20%) strategy development - Participate in brand planning, develop strategic trade marketing plan to support Sales to deliver target volume, profit and share objectives, as well as building brand equity in channel.
Identify consumer/shopper insights and opportunities to create brand linkage, and translate those insights into brand connecting platform with shoppers/consumers to drive conversion and engagement.
Develop winning consumer touchpoints strategy & execution (PICOS) to drive conversion and build brand.
Develop & manage POSM, promotional activations and retail experiences to help bring to live the brand positioning in channel and drive conversion.
Educate key partners and sales team on the brand portfolio experience to ensure world class experience of our brands in all touchpoints.
Lead brand participation in brand experientials, i.e., fairs, events, festivals etc.
Drive Brand Advocacy by representing Singapore as part of the regional Brand Advocacy team to maintain a high level of brand product appreciation at distributor, customers and consumers level.
Develop and manage the trade marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
Track and report on trade marketing expenditures and ROI.
Prepare regular reports on trade marketing performance, including sales results, promotional effectiveness, and market trends.
Use data-driven insights to optimize future trade marketing strategies.
Oversee the development and distribution of POS materials (e.g., posters, banners, shelf talkers) to enhance brand visibility in retail environments.
Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and standards across all trade channels.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of Trade marketing or commercial experience in an international alcohol or beverage company preferred.
Proven experience in the development and execution of holistic trade marketing activations (20% On & 80% Off Trade).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable shopper and consumer insights.
Strong understanding of retail environment challenges, white spaces and area to leverage.
In-depth understanding of the beer category will be preferred.
Strong commercial acumen and proven agency management skills.
Good command of English (written and spoken).
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
