Job ResponsibilitiesTo meet the increasing demand and needs for our existing and new UOB customers for general insurance protection, we are looking for a highly driven, focused and self-motivated individual to join our General Insurance team. Specific responsibilities include:
Actively make outbound calls to present General Insurance products (Hospital/Accident/Critical Illness) to UOB customers
Pro-actively highlight the unique selling features of every insurance plan
Understand customer’s concerns and address their needs through active listening
Handle customer objections professionally and conduct sales calls in a persuasive and engaging manner
Strong ability and confidence to cross-sell (e.g., a 2nd insurance plan)
Consistently meet and exceed sales targets set by management monthly
Apply diligence and integrity in the selling process to ensure sales calls are conducted in accordance with the bank’s quality assurance standards
Job RequirementsHighly persuasive and comfortable with handling customer objections
Thrive in a fast-paced environment to consistently meet or exceed sales targets
Strong ability to transition from selling one product to another with ease
Willing to learn and apply new techniques to improve skillsets
Must be certified with BCP and PGI
Relevant insurance background is required
Basic salary will commensurate with relevant experience
