The NTU Office of Commercial and Auxiliary Services (OCAS) is responsible for the strategic planning, management, and marketing of commercial real estate, hospitality (including Nanyang Executive Centre) and auxiliary services (car parks and shuttle bus services) in NTU main campus and The Nanyang Executive Centre (NEC) is located at the NTU Main Campus. Currently undergoing refurbishment, the NEC features 150 guestrooms and aims to offer a premier venue for corporate training, retreats and private events.We are looking for a proactive, service-oriented professional to join NEC as Guest Service Officer . As the welcoming face of NEC, you will be responsible for creating exceptional first impressions and delivering personalised service throughout each guest's stay. You will support front desk operations, orientate guests, anticipate their needs, and ensure every touchpoint reflects the NEC's commitment to hospitality excellence.Key Responsibilities: Greet and provide a warm welcome to arriving guests to ensure a welcoming first impression. Assist with guest check-in and check-out procedures, coordinate VIP and special guest arrivals and departures, in accordance with established SOPs. Provide room orientation to the guests and introduce NEC facilities. Manage and coordinate special requests from guests to ensure personalized service delivery (e.g. celebrating special occasions). Collate and document guest feedback into the Property Management System. Ensure the lobby and guest-facing areas are always neat and clean. Proactive in meeting guests' requests and needs throughout their stay. Handle guests' request and redirect the request to the appropriate department(s) if request is not within scope and capacity of Front Office. Listen to guests' complaints or concerns and resolve their issue in a timely manner. Be familiar with NTU and NEC facilities and functions as well as major city attractions and events. Provide guests with accurate information as requested. Perform any other duties as may assigned by Duty Manager/Front Office Manager. Requirements: Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Hotel Management or relevant discipline. Experience: Experience in the hospitality industry with a minimum of 1 year in a similar capacity. Communication Skills: Good spoken and written communication skills in order to interact well with guests. Professional disposition : Well-groomed, display a professional disposition with strong interpersonal skills. Proactive : Proactive and prompt in meeting guests' requests and needs.
