We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shipping Executive to lead our operational shipping activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing port operations, coordinating with authorities and vendors, building strong relationships, and demonstrating leadership skills.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage port operations for ship calling activities ensuring timely and efficient vessel turnaround.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities and vendors for crew change operations adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Banish strong relationships and collaborate effectively with customers and vendors to drive business growth.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills and manage vessels independently with minimal supervision.
- Ensure proper documentation practices including generating invoices and FDA compliance.
- Adapt to customer expectations and provide versatile solutions to meet their needs.
- Evaluate and assess both existing and potential new vendors to ensure quality service delivery.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of general working experience or a degree/diploma in maritime or related field.
- Applicant without experience is welcome to apply training will be provided.
- Able to work and communicate effectively in a Chinese client-speaking environment.
- A strong team player with a positive working attitude.
- Able to respond during odd hours night weekend.
- Highly responsible with a strong sense of ownership.
