Global Freight Expert

You will be an integral part of a world-class team, responsible for ensuring seamless order and shipment fulfillment for customers worldwide. Our team is dedicated to enhancing the customer experience through key partnerships with renowned brands.

The incumbent will be equipped through comprehensive training to maintain and enhance operational processes. This includes managing port-to-door/door-to-door freight operations, shipping documentation, and administration.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage daily freight operations, including relevant shipping documents and administration;
  • Monitor and ensure timely delivery of regular orders and pre-orders shipments, resolving in-transit issues directly with service providers;
  • Collaborate with team members to explore solutions and innovate around operational constraints;
  • Maintain strong communications with the organization, updating stakeholders on freight-related matters (Fulfillment, Supply & Demand);
  • Partner with Vendor Management to resolve vendor-related issues;
  • Drive process and system improvements to enhance operational efficiency;
  • Remain updated on regional shipping and customs regulations;
  • Analyze and contribute to monthly operational reports, providing action plans for improvements;
  • Ensure data accuracy used in dashboards and reports for daily operation monitoring and identify discrepancies to stakeholders to maintain data integrity;
  • Be the technical subject matter expert on logistics processes and role model as a senior member of the team.
Requirements
  • Experience handling inbound and outbound shipments (FCL/LCL) along with shipping documents such as BL, PL, CI;
  • Solid understanding of Shipping Incoterms (i.e FOB, DDP, DAP);
  • Diploma or Bachelor's in Business Operations/Supply Chain/Logistics, or a relevant field;
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (to liaise with Mandarin speaking counterparts);
  • Strong communicator with the ability to engage effectively with internal teams, 3PLs, freight forwarders, and overseas counterparts on both technical and non-technical matters;
  • Decisive, action-oriented, results-focused;
  • Fast learner and creative problem solver who seeks continuous improvement and process innovation;
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines and diverse situations;
  • Intrapreneurial mindset – takes ownership, shows initiative, and adapts well to different characters and situations.
Bonuses
  • Work experience in operational logistics, shipping, freight forwarding industry is a major plus;
  • Experience in ecommerce/direct-to-consumer industry.
