R&D Manager Job Description

This role involves leading the development of products to ensure they meet customer and regulatory requirements.

As an R&D Manager, you will oversee the team responsible for product formulation and manufacturing processes to maintain high-quality standards. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with food regulations, managing internal auditors, and maintaining effective relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive product innovation and growth.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and manufacture new products that meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage HACCP and audit teams to ensure high-quality standards are maintained.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to drive business growth.
  • Identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes and formulate plans to improve efficiency and quality.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, research, and development skills, as well as experience working with auditing and compliance processes.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Food Science, Chemistry).
  • At least 5 years of experience in R&D management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of driving innovation and growth through product development.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
