Responsibilities:
Visit existing clients and develop new customers in the offshore and marine sectors.
Submit weekly visit reports.
Sell replacement parts for diesel engines and secure orders to meet sales targets.
Monitor orders from placement to final delivery.
Prepare bids and quotes for clients.
Review cost estimates, tenders, and quotations to ensure accuracy.
Plan and ensure bids and inquiries are correctly valued, quoted, and submitted according to the client's specifications.
Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with orders or contracts.
Manage primary sales forecasts.
Maintain high-quality customer service and nurture strong relationships with clients.
Be responsible for meeting sales targets and maximizing profit margins.
Stay up-to-date with product developments, industry news, trends, competitors, and relevant information on existing and new technologies.
Lead discussions on the company's technical solutions with customers and the sales team, building client trust.
Collaborate closely with sales teams to develop strong relationships and understand sales strategies, account management, and opportunity handling.
Provide regular, accurate reports and account updates.
Contribute to the growth of the company by sharing specialized knowledge and offering coaching and training as needed.
Organize, oversee, and participate in trade events and exhibitions.
Conduct market research and gather feedback from customers on sales and service strategies, follow-up methods, and after-sales service quality.
Take responsibility for cross-diversification business reports and monthly business development reports.
Assist in the creation of annual operating budgets, business plans, and goals, and help execute them to meet targets.
Lead the trading team and assume signing authority in the manager's absence.
Handle any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
Minimum of a Diploma in Engineering.
At least 2 years of experience in the Marine, Offshore, or Oil & Gas industries.
