Job Title:

Centre Manager, Youth Hub

About the Role:

You will lead a team of dedicated professionals to ensure the smooth operation of our youth hub. Your mission will be to empower young people through a range of programs and activities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily centre operations, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all participants.
  • Manage program scheduling, space usage, and activity logistics to maximize efficiency and impact.
  • Supervise and support staff, volunteers, and facilitators to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Build and maintain relationships with partners, funders, and community stakeholders to advance our mission.
  • Monitor budgets and track outcomes to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Experience in centre or facility management, program coordination, or community work is essential.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills are required to succeed in this role.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a dynamic environment is crucial.
  • Passion for youth empowerment and positive community engagement is a must.
  • Willingness to work some evenings and weekends is necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Community Development, Non-Profit Management, or related fields (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of qualifications).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in centre management, program coordination, or social/community work is preferred.
  • Knowledge of youth development and safeguarding practices is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Canva/MS Office/Google Workspace; familiarity with basic budgeting and reporting is desired.
