Job Description

The Human Resources Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting the organization's human capital initiatives. Key responsibilities include providing strategic human resources and administrative support, encompassing talent acquisition, employee onboarding/off-boarding, employee benefits, employee relations, training/development.

This position does not involve supervisory duties, and the incumbent is expected to work independently on routine job tasks.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Talent Acquisition, On/Off Boarding:
    • Responsible for managing the recruitment process, including working with hiring managers on job descriptions, posting job openings on relevant platforms, direct sourcing via professional networks, candidate shortlisting, interview management, and offer proposals/contract issuance.
  • Employee Benefits:
    • Undertakes regular reviews of staff benefits to ensure market competitiveness and alignment with changing statutory provisions. Discusses proposed changes with management.
    • Briefs new joiners on their benefits and relevant processes involved.
  • HR Support:
    • Rolls out appropriate training and development programs for staff, in collaboration with management and supervisors.
    • Facilitates annual HR processes for staff, including performance management, annual increments, promotions, etc.
    • Provides guidance/advice to supervisors and staff on routine HR processes, systems, procedures, and other necessary HR-related queries.
    • Supports management in organizing staff engagement activities.
    • Assists management in disciplinary and employee relations/grievance issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline, coupled with 1-2 years of human resources experience, including talent acquisition.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, professional networking platforms, and relevant applications.
  • Solid written and spoken communication skills (English) and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-driven, with problem-solving and decision-making ability.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Local HR certification would be an added advantage but not mandatory.

Working Conditions:
