to join our courier service company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and issuing invoices, verifying shipment details, processing payments, and resolving billing discrepancies. The role requires accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate and issue invoices for courier deliveries and related services.
Verify shipment records, delivery status, and pricing details before billing.
Process payments and follow up on outstanding invoices.
Maintain accurate billing records and update customer accounts.
Resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries regarding invoices.
Collaborate with the finance and operations teams to ensure accurate invoicing.
Assist in preparing reports related to billing and revenue.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Billing Clerk, Accounts Assistant, or similar role.
Familiarity with billing software and accounting systems.
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle confidential financial information.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and data entry.
Experience in the logistics or courier industry is a plus.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in accounting or finance is an advantage.
1-2 years of experience in a similar role preferred.
