Contractual Specialist Job Opportunity

Are you an experienced contractual professional seeking a challenging role where your skills can make a significant impact? We are looking for a highly skilled Contractual Specialist to join our team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic advice to project staff on contract-related matters, including variation and claims management. This will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop solicitation documents and contractual correspondence. Additionally, the Contractual Specialist will maintain accurate records of all contractual correspondence, including subcontractor communications and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance on contract interpretation and advise on potential commercial/contractual implications arising from project-related correspondence.
  • Ensure that signed contracts are communicated effectively to project staff and provide contract awareness and interpretation services as required.
  • Prepare final accounts and variations submissions in accordance with established procedures.
  • Assist in ISO audit and implementation initiatives as needed.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management as necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Survey, Engineering (Civil), or equivalent with 10-15 years of relevant working experience.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in construction/roadworks LTA projects.
