Contractual Management Expert

This is a full-time role responsible for overseeing and managing all contractual obligations, disputes, and negotiations for the company's construction projects.

  • Manage the Quantity Surveyor (QS) team and project profit & loss while dealing with clients.
  • Establish team objectives and motivate/develop QSs to achieve them.
  • Develop and implement systems for QS, contract, and cost management.
  • Review and monitor project costing, including inter-project and inter-company cost charging concerns.
  • Resolve problems encountered by QS/project teams, including dealing with clients/sub-contractors on cost and contractual matters.
  • Take ownership of project cost/contractual related settlements.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years' relevant experience.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating, drafting, and administering diverse construction contracts.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction law, contract management principles, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve contractual issues.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities to liaise with cross-functional teams.
