Contractual Management Specialist

This role involves overseeing and managing contractual obligations, disputes, and negotiations for construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Quantity Surveyor team and project profit & loss while dealing with clients.

  • Develop and implement systems for contract and cost management to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Review and monitor project costing, including inter-project and inter-company cost charging concerns.
  • Resolve problems encountered by QS/project teams, including dealing with clients/sub-contractors on cost and contractual matters.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years' relevant experience in quantity surveying or construction management.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating, drafting, and administering diverse construction contracts.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction law, contract management principles, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve contractual issues.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities to liaise with cross-functional teams.
