Team Description
At Shopee, our Business Strategy & Projects teams play a key role in driving strategic initiatives, unlocking growth opportunities, and shaping the direction of our e-commerce platform across the region. We work at the intersection of data, operations, and commercial strategy — supporting the business through deep analysis, research, and cross-functional collaboration.
This role is designed for aspiring strategists who are passionate about solving real-world business problems and making an impact in dynamic digital environments.
Job Description
Identify growth opportunities and cost optimisation levers, and contribute to the development and execution of strategies that drive business impact
Conduct structured quantitative and qualitative analyses to solve complex business challenges and support decision-making
Research industry trends, user behaviours, and competitor best practices to inform internal strategies
Support key commercial functions (e.g., marketing, category management, operations, partnerships) by refining strategic plans, performance frameworks, and reporting processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across regional and local markets to monitor key performance metrics, diagnose root causes, and implement improvement initiatives
Requirements
Bachelor\'s Degree and above in any discipline
For fresh graduates, expected graduation by July 2026
Prior internship or project experience in strategy, business operations, e-commerce, consulting, or startups is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and logical mindset
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and breaking down complex problems into clear action plans
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required; familiarity with SQL or data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus
