Assistant Director (Research)In This Role, You Will Lead in the conduct of scanning and research into emerging technologies (eg. Quantum, synthetic biotechnology, new space) and technology-related issues, such as research/industry trends, applications, norms and geostrategic developments, that can impact technology development for the Defence Technology Community (DTC). Engage with thought leaders across government, industry and academia to curate insights on interest topics. Lead in the assessments from research, including potential options or approaches on technology-related issues, to inform senior leadership. Job Requirements Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Fluent in English - able to write technology primers and articles to inform DTC; and prepare and conduct presentations well in English. Successful candidates will be offered a 2-year contract.
