Overview You'll be the heartbeat of our events and sales scene, mixing creativity, hustle, and a passion for making things happen. Responsibilities Know Mama Shelter inside out – from rooms and function spaces to menus, floral vibes, entertainment options, and safety protocols. Monitor the competition to stay ahead. Collaborate with the restaurant team to create Instagram-worthy event setups that wow clients. Host site inspections to showcase Mama's offerings to potential clients. Build strong connections with key players in your market and maintain relationships with hotel colleagues at partner properties. Engage with in-house guests, remember their preferences, and ensure a memorable Mama experience. Be the mastermind behind group bookings, coordinating details with clients and internal teams to execute events smoothly. Keep the booking system up to date with weekly updates and generate post-event reports to demonstrate success. Manage inventory for gifts and Mama materials to send to clients. Identify opportunities to upsell Mama spaces, services, and offerings to maximize revenue. Answer inquiries with warmth and professionalism, delivering top-notch service to guests and clients. Handle requests with poise and escalate issues as needed to management. Maintain a professional appearance and personal style aligned with Mama's brand, and stay informed about safety and emergency procedures. Attend briefings, meetings, and trainings with a proactive, can-do attitude; assist with additional tasks as needed. Qualifications High-energy multitasker with strong organizational skills and a positive, fun approach. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities; a true people-person. Team player who collaborates effectively with internal teams and external partners. Tech-savvy; experience with hotel booking systems is a bonus. Creative problem-solver who can handle client concerns with confidence and a smile. Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with varying days.
