Student Enrolment Advisor Role
This is a critical position that oversees and coordinates all aspects of student enrolment processes, ensuring seamless interactions between students and stakeholders.
Course Planning and Management
The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating annual unit planning, maintaining an up-to-date course matrix, and communicating effectively with course providers and regulators.
- Ensure timely approval and communication of unit offerings, manage course transitions, new course registrations, and deregistrations, and facilitate provision of software and on-campus learning facilities.
- Develop, update, and communicate study plans aligning with course requirements and unit changes.
Study Plan Creation and Maintenance
The successful candidate will oversee smooth enrolment and class registration processes, ensuring deadlines and procedures are communicated to students and stakeholders.
- Monitor prerequisites, failed units, and facilitate re-enrolments, maintain accurate enrolment status in student management systems, and collaborate with the Scheduling Team on class sizes and teacher-student ratios.
- Manage unit withdrawals, enforce relevant policies and deadlines, provide student academic advising and support during orientation and academic sessions, and work with related teams to manage at-risk and terminated students.
Student Progression and Retention
The role involves managing student progression, including briefings and application processing, and monitoring retention rates to intervene early for at-risk students in collaboration with Academic Capability teams.
- Maintain detailed records of enrolment and registration activities, ensure clear communication of enrolment information, policies, and timelines, and provide enrolment reports and updates to stakeholders.
Administration and Reporting
The successful candidate will review and improve enrolment and course planning processes, support audit preparations, and comply with regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate should have a Diploma or a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification, relevant experience in student enrolment, registration, or related administrative roles, and familiarity with student management systems. They should be able to communicate effectively, work collaboratively, and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
