We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth and expansion into the Southeast Asian (SEA) market. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the retail design and build industry, combined with excellent communication and strategic thinking skills. You will be instrumental in growing the company's client base, optimizing brand visibility, and driving sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities :
• Develop and Optimize Brand Identity
Lead initiatives to enhance the company's brand presence across the Southeast Asian market, ensuring consistent and impactful exposure through strategic marketing efforts.
• Market Research & Growth Strategy
Conduct comprehensive market and industry analysis to assess market conditions, predict business trends, and determine strategic opportunities to increase market share.
• Identify & Secure Business Opportunities
Proactively seek and pursue new business opportunities by building and nurturing relationships with potential clients. Drive the growth of the company by winning key contracts and expanding revenue streams.
• Client Relationship Management
Maintain an up-to-date database of potential clients and partners in identified target markets, ensuring the development of long-term business relationships.
• Engage & Communicate Effectively
Develop compelling, integrated content for both written and verbal communication platforms. Deliver engaging presentations and proposals that reflect the company's value proposition.
• Stakeholder Engagement
Build and sustain strong relationships with key stakeholders including design firms, quantity surveyors, landlords, and trade associations, ensuring alignment of objectives and fostering collaborative partnerships.
• Support in Tender Processes
Provide strategic support in reviewing and preparing tenders. Lead and participate in bid interviews, ensuring clear articulation of the company's strengths and project value.
Skills & Requirements :
- Minimum 3 years of working experience preferably sales technique in a Retail fit-out/Commercial interior design firm.
- Experience in managing complex sales cycles with B2B selling processes to multinational companies.
- Knowledge in interior designing will be and added advantage.
- Possess good interpersonal, presentation skills and resourceful in seeking new projects/customers.
