We tackle every business decision with enthusiasm, and we love the work that we doAs our first Event Manager servicing our APAC clients, this role will operate as a regular member of the customer success team and will be crucial in helping Planned expand globally. You will be responsible for the sourcing, planning and coordination of our APAC client events as well as onboarding new suppliers and expanding the global marketplace. Responsibilities Act as an industry expert and coach clients through their event planning process Ensure a seamless experience and bridge gaps between the tech and the customer experience Receive client event briefs and determine best vendor options Handle event logistics, budgeting, and invoicing Coordinate and negotiate with event vendors Onboard new APAC vendors and continue to expand marketplace in our serviceable regions Qualifications Experience in the event-planning industry with emphasis on corporate events The successful candidate is intelligent, self-confident, influential, and effective when interacting with others A go-getter - will have the ability to perform in fast-paced, evolving start-up environment Has an entrepreneurial spirit and takes initiative Excellent communication in English (bonus languages would be Japanese and Mandarin, although not a requirement at this time)What We Offer Culture of high performance, strong talent density, and team collaboration Unlimited PTO Competitive compensation & benefit packages Details Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Management and Manufacturing Industries: Internet Marketplace Platforms Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Planned by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr
