Position Overview The Tender Engineer is responsible for preparing, managing, and coordinating tender submissions, cost estimates, and procurement activities. This role involves analyzing project specifications, preparing bills of quantities, liaising with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, and ensuring accurate and competitive pricing to secure projects. Responsibilities Maintain sub-contract and material suppliers database Assess tender document to ensure sufficient information available to prepare tender Take off quantities Prepare and issue sub-contract enquiries and assessment of quotations upon receipt Prepare and issue material supply enquiries and assessment of quotations upon receipt Pricing of Mechanical & System Installation Prepare specifications and / or contractors proposals Submit tenders and follow up Attend site visit and meetings when required Any ad-hoc tasks as assigned Requirements Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Past experience in Mechanical costing Past experience in Electrical/Interior/Architectural/Structural will be an added advantage Good working knowledge of standard forms of measurement Ability to work on own initiative and with minimum of supervision Good working attitude, Highly motivated and able to work under pressure at times to meet target deadlines Good verbal and written communication skills Good IT skills – particularly Word, Excel and Powerpoint Safety Notice Be careful – Don’t provide your
