Introduction
The PR Manager is a creative and detail-oriented individual who has a strong background in data analysis and journalism, with the ability to translate complex data into engaging stories and reports. He/she will be part of Trip.com Group’s International PR team (Content) tasked to strategise, develop and execute a communications plan for various stakeholders, as well as establish and strengthen relations with the media in the targeted markets.
In this Role, you’ll get to
Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data from various sources related to travel trends, customer behaviour, and industry developments.
Develop comprehensive reports, infographics, and data-rich content for press releases and media briefings to support PR campaigns, media outreach, and internal communications.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and data journalism techniques and tools to provide actionable recommendations and best reporting practices.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and research, to gather and validate data.
Support the development and execution of the Group’s content and media engagement strategies for both external and internal communications to increase the Group’s share of voice in the media.
Develop narratives and content strategy to strengthen thought leadership and effectively communicate the Group’s key messages through external as well as owned media channels/platforms (i.e. corporate website, social media channels), including but not limited to the drafting or editing of press releases, speeches, research papers, FAQs, replies to media queries, web articles, newsletters, and videos.
Coordinate and collaborate with Business Units to create compelling content to engage new and existing users and strengthen brand equity across various platforms; advise and support offshore teams on the content mix needed to develop content targeted at business partners and other stakeholders.
Proofread and edit content developed by Business Units to ensure adherence to in-house branding and editorial guidelines, and uphold the quality of all public-facing communications.
What you'll Need to Succeed
Degree in Media and Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or other relevant field.
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in data journalism, data analysis, journalism or a related content role.
Proven track record of producing data-driven content and reports in a fast-paced environment. Understanding of the travel and tourism industry is a major plus.
A keen eye for detail and an exceptionally high bar for accuracy and quality.
Proven stakeholder management skills, and strong track record in managing multiple projects concurrently whilst adhering to timelines.
Good grasp of a range of communication skills such as messaging, positioning, and story-telling; possess excellent writing skills and ability to produce compelling, creative, and engaging content.
