Key Responsibilities:

As a Business Development Professional at ECMS EXPRESS (S) PTE. LTD., you will be responsible for conducting outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, email outreach, and social selling, to identify and qualify leads. You will also research target accounts and decision-makers to understand their needs, pain points, and buying process. Additionally, you will articulate our value proposition clearly and persuasively to prospects, highlighting how our solutions can address their challenges and deliver tangible results. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with the sales team to schedule meetings and demos with qualified prospects, ensuring a smooth handoff of leads. You will also keep accurate records of prospect interactions and update our CRM system with relevant information. Finally, you will strive to meet and exceed monthly/quarterly revenue and margin targets.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree or minimum of a Diploma in any related field. You will also need preferably 3-5 years of commercial role, online marketplace or logistics firm experience. Strong negotiation skills and experience in acquiring new customers are also essential. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, are required. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities focus on driving results and delivering value. Knowledge of logistics, e-Commerce and social media live steam is a plus point. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment is also necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with logistics management software is a plus.
