Job Title: Environmental Compliance Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental professional to take on this pivotal role. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and continuously improving our environmental management systems.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated individual who is passionate about ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive environmental policies, procedures and management systems in line with industry standards.
  • Conduct regular environmental inspections and investigations, identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all operational activities are carried out in accordance with established environmental protocols.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the knowledge and skills of employees in environmental best practices.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of environmental incidents, near misses and audits.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure compliance with relevant environmental regulations and standards.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
