Human Resources Business Associate Internship

The People, Performance, and Culture division is dedicated to the seamless execution of all human resources functions within the organization. Our team plays a crucial role in fostering an exceptional workplace by implementing leading-edge initiatives to attract, recruit, develop, and retain top talent, while enhancing KPMG's reputation as the Employer of Choice. We are seeking an enthusiastic relationship builder and collaborator for the role of Intern HR Business Partner (HRBP). In this capacity, you will assist both Junior and Senior HRBPs in executing HR strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
As an intern, you will have the opportunity to:
Collaborate with HRBPs to provide outstanding service through operational support for HR initiatives and assist in the implementation of People Strategies. Engage in various aspects of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, performance evaluations, learning and development, employee communication, and change management. Enhance the onboarding and offboarding experiences for employees. Draft introductory emails for new team members. Assist in the creation of communication materials for organization-wide town halls. Propose enhancements to streamline and improve HR processes. Contribute to HR projects and potentially lead your own initiative.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following qualities:
A preference for a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a business or HR-related discipline, though exceptional undergraduates (Year 1 to 2) are encouraged to apply. Prior internship experience is advantageous. We prefer candidates who can commit to a full-time or part-time internship for a minimum duration. Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong attention to detail. A proactive and independent mindset with critical thinking abilities. Effective problem-solving skills. Capability to follow through on requests with a high level of accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism. Willingness to accept feedback for continuous improvement. An innovative approach and a fresh perspective. A collaborative team player adept at managing multiple stakeholders. A strong desire to learn and a keen interest in the field of Human Resources.
