Corporate Governance Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled professional to assume the role of Corporate Governance Specialist. The ideal candidate will have exceptional corporate governance skills, be meticulous and organized, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of companies, including local and multinational corporations. Key responsibilities include performing full-spectrum corporate secretarial duties, maintaining and updating statutory registers and minutes books, performing client due diligence, handling work pass applications for clients' expatriate staff, preparing XBRL format financial statements, and providing ad-hoc corporate services as required by clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of companies, including local and multinational corporations
  • Perform full-spectrum corporate secretarial duties
  • Maintain and update statutory registers and minutes books
  • Perform client due diligence
  • Handle work pass application for clients' expatriate staff
  • Prepare XBRL format of financial statements
  • Provide ad-hoc corporate services as required by clients
Requirements:
  • Candidates undertaking CGQP or possess MAICSA qualification or finalists preferred
  • Relevant working experience is a plus
  • Meticulous, organized, and proactive individual who can work independently
  • Able to multi-task and work under tight timelines
  • Have initiative, be responsible, and a team player
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
