Job Title: Corporate Governance Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Governance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing corporate secretarial functions for a portfolio of clients, including advising on compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, preparing and filing essential documents with authorities, and facilitating and documenting board and shareholder meetings.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage corporate secretarial functions for a portfolio of clients
- Advise clients on compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and file essential documents with authorities
- Facilitate and document board and shareholder meetings
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports
- Develop and implement effective governance strategies to ensure compliance and risk management
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives
- Provide exceptional client service and support
- Mentor and develop junior team members
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in corporate governance or a related field
- Deep understanding of corporate governance principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
