Corporate Governance Specialist
Job Description:Our client is a well-established leader in the energy sector, seeking an experienced corporate governance specialist to provide support for entities maintained by the group. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and be able to work effectively under pressure.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality corporate secretarial support, ensuring regulatory compliance with Companies Act and other relevant requirements. Key responsibilities include preparation of board resolutions, documents, and minutes of meetings as well as announcements.
Additionally, the role involves assisting in logistics for board meetings, maintaining accurate and up-to-date statutory records of group companies, and liaising with auditors, ACRA officers, and other external parties.
As a key member of the team, the corporate governance specialist will work closely with senior management to ensure that all aspects of corporate secretariat and compliance are met.
Requirements:- Corporate secretarial background with legal administration experience
- At least 3-5 years relevant experience in law firms or in-house roles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
