About the Role: The Therapy Services Director plays a pivotal role in overseeing the strategic direction of therapy services, leading a team of therapists and psychologists to deliver high-quality services to clients. This position requires strong leadership and management skills to ensure operational efficiency and service quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Efficiency and Service Quality:
    • Develop work plans aligned with organisational goals
    • Implement quality assurance measures to ensure adherence to service standards
    • Maintain programme effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies for continuous enhancement
  • Uplift Professional Practice in Therapy Services:
    • Lead the AP Team for a collaborative and person-centred/family centred approach to therapeutic planning, intervention, and evaluation
    • Coordinating the work of the therapists to monitor the deployment of intervention, client progress, and outcome evaluation
  • Caseload Management:
    • Manage the caseload of the therapists and psychologists as per guidelines and work plans
    • Endorse revisions in consultation with senior management when changes and deviations from guidelines are required
  • Change Management:
    • Support Director to conceptualise, plan, and drive strategic initiatives that advance the outcomes of the group
    • Regularly review and revise strategies and tactics in response to internal and external developments
  • People Development:
    • Sustain the agency's values, vision, and mission within the team
    • Work with Clinical Leads in development and implementation of structures and processes for professional and personal development of the team members
    • Ensure the quality of monitoring and supervision of team members meets the standards of governing bodies and professions

Requirements:

  • Recognised degree/Master in relevant discipline
  • Registered with AHPC or Singapore Psychological Society
  • Minimum 12 years post-qualification experience preferably working as an AP with persons with disabilities, with at least 5 years in a SPED setting
  • Demonstrated ability in administering programs and managing teams
  • Only Singaporeans and PRs
